    I. Introduction
    With various stumbling blocks still lying
    in the way of deepening inter-Korean
    economic exchange and cooperation, it
    is advised that the Korean government
    should craft a long-term plan in order to fine-tune
    its responses to volatile situations on the Korean
    peninsula. This article first aims to make an
    assessment of the current status of inter-Korean
    exchange and cooperation, and then explores
    effective ways to develop inter-Korean economic,
    social, and cultural exchange and cooperation.
