The spring is cruel for the Korean peninsula. Military tensions escalated without
exception throughout March and April, and sense of crisis regarding the possibility of a
pending war spreaded around the world via foreign media. Such pattern is repeated every year, and things are not much different this time. Sense of crisis is raging upon several occasions like the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) on April 11th, the 105th birth anniversary of the regime’s founding father, Kim Il Sung on April 15th and the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Korean people’s Army on April 25th. Throughout the signs of provocation from the regime and the Trump administration’ strategic asset deployment to Korea, the level of tension in the peninsula was higher than ever in the eyes of the world’s media.
