On March 6th, President Donald Trump signed the revised executive order to
temporarily ban entry to the US for citizens from six of the seven Muslim-majority countries named in his first travel ban executive order
(Executive Order: Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States) – Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Syria and Libya – leaving Iraq off the list. Trump announced the revised order 6 weeks after the first order, issued on January 27th, which was blocked by the courts. The chaos and legal challenge regarding the order are likely to continue although the Trump administration argues that there is nothing wrong
with it.
