I. Introduction
Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th
president of the United States on January
20, 2017. In his first days in office, Trump
rigorously pushed to fulfill his core
pledges using presidential executive actions, such
as repealing Obamacare, withdrawing from the
Trans-Pacific Partnership(TPP), building a wall
along the US-Mexico border, and signing an
executive order on immigration. Such measures
have stoked concerns over the unbridled speed at
which Trump has unleashed efforts to realize his
“America First” policy, crafting and implementing
his economic, trade, diplomatic, and security
policies.
