  • An Exit Strategy for the Cheonan Incident
and the International Situation in East Asia
On July 9, 35 days after the Cheonan
incident was referred to the United
    Nations Security Council(UNSC),
    the UNSC unanimously adopted the
    presidential statement on the
    Cheonan, composed of 11 clauses.
This makes the total number of
presidential statements that specifically deal with North
    Korea eight as of now.
